Médoc o’clock

My pick for yesterdays dinner  was a 2013 Médoc from Château David.

This nice and smooth red is a nicely made Médoc. With hints of red fruit, blueberry, cherries and some spice. Well structured and balanced. It has a delicately woody bouquet, but it needs a bit of decantering though.

About Château David:

A family-run estate belonging to the Coutreau family and listed since 1985 as a Cru Bourgeois. The constant, unrelenting efforts deployed by the family were rewarded in 2003 by the renewal of the listing of the Château as a Cru Bougeois.
